About the wine
In the beautiful surroundings of our country estate, an 18th. century bastide, we organize various activities and
presentations of our wines.
Introduction to wine tasting
We welcome your group to our newly renovated tasting cellar for a special sensory tasting experience of four to five wines. During a 45 minute presentation, your group will be presented with a display of our white and red varieties, learn more about the specifics of wine tasting, and come away with a greater appreciation of the expressiveness of wines. (Organized for groups of a minimum of 10 people. Please call in advance for reservations.).
Walk in a vine devoted garden ( from May 2011)
Wine connoisseurs and nature lovers will be delighted to walk through a section of our vineyard where the various vines of the Rhone Valley, have been specifically planted together for this demonstration. During the walk, we will explain the different methods used for vine cultivation. (30 minute tour).
Tasting of delicacies and wine accompaniment
Catherine Bour, Henri’s wife, is prepared to create a variety of tapas and hors-d’oeuvres from the Provence and Mediterranean regions. Catherine works to create a balance of food and wine that best preserves the flavors of each.
The Cathy’s cooking
Cooking classes are offered during various seasons. You will enjoy Catherine’s lessons in the use of our famous local black truffle, spices and wines, and aromatic herbs. The classes are followed by a tasting party of the dishes created. The classes take place on Friday evenings at 6:30pm and Saturday mornings at 10:00am. (class length: 4 hours; cost: 37 euros)
Picnic at a vintner’s place
In the marvelous surroundings of our 18th century home, you and your friends may enjoy a delightful picnic under the shade of 100 year old oak trees, while being served delicious specialties prepared by Catherine Bour. A wine tasting will also be organized prior to serving brunch. (Organized for groups of a minimum of 15 people, from May to September. Please call in advance for reservations, menu details, and prices.)
And in addition
We also offer the use of our tasting cellar, as well as the surrounding grounds of the Domaine for private functions including business meetings, wedding banquets, and any other social occasion you may have. (Please call for availability and pricing information)
